{"id":81587,"date":"2020-03-17T13:45:02","date_gmt":"2020-03-17T02:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thewofa.com\/?p=81587"},"modified":"2020-03-17T13:45:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-17T02:45:02","slug":"stayhome-diamond-da40-spells-out-message-in-the-skies-of-austria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldofaviation.com\/2020\/03\/stayhome-diamond-da40-spells-out-message-in-the-skies-of-austria\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018STAYHOME\u2019: Diamond DA40 spells out message in the skies of Austria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shortly after 1pm (local time), an Austrian pilot scrawled out a message in the skies just south of Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>The decorative flight path spelt \u201cSTAYHOME\u201d, a reference to the coronavirus outbreak that has seen self-isolation measures imposed across swathes of Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Flightradar24 data shows that the 24-minute flight took the Diamond DA40 from Wiener Neustadt to the city of Graz.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier that day, the plane had taken off from Wiener Neustadt for a brief flight, crossing the area several times before landing again 21 minutes later.
