Embraer and Indonesian aerospace company PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore commercial aviation collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\n
The agreement was signed at the Indonesia-Brazil CEO Forum during the G20 Summit in Brazil, witnessed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and key government officials.<\/p>\n
PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan said the deal would enhance Indonesian capabilities.<\/p>\n
“We look forward to developing this collaboration and tapping on Embraer’s 55 years of expertise and knowledge, which will boost our capabilities, particularly in the commercial aviation sector,” he said.<\/p>\n
The partnership will focus on engineering and aerostructure supply opportunities, adhering to industry standards and best practices.<\/p>\n
Embraer Commercial Aviation Vice President Rodrigo Silva e Souza highlighted Indonesia’s market potential.<\/p>\n
“Indonesia is one of the fastest growing aviation markets globally and we see areas where both parties can harness the strength of its expertise, enhance Indonesia’s aerospace capabilities and expand its air connectivity,” he said.<\/p>\n
